A very special event is happening at UTRGV - The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley , Thursday, March 5. The Texas Supreme Court will hear oral argument on cases with direct impact on the Rio Grande Valley. The oral arguments will be held at the UTRGV Performing Arts Center on the Edinburg campus. The Court chose that venue because of its size and ability to seat 1,000. The event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. with oral argument to begin at 9:30 a.m.
