The City of McAllen is making significant strides in enhancing its amenities for residents. Recently, the City held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Daffodil Roadway & Drainage Improvement project. This project expanded Daffodil Avenue from Taylor Road to FM 2220 (Ware Road), transforming it from a two-lane road into a four-lane urban roadway with curbs and gutters. The improvements also included adding left-turn lanes at key intersections and 5-foot sidewalks on both sides of the street. Congratulations!!
