Get ready to rally the Rebels and head back to McAllen Public Library for our 10th Annual Amnesty Month, running April 1āMay 4, right in time for Star Wars Day.
Return any overdue items to any MPL locationāno matter how lateāand weāll remove the fines. This only applies to materials currently checked out, so bring those books, DVDs, CDs, and Blu-rays back to the library.
All month long, enjoy Star Wars-themed photo ops at Main Library, and donāt miss our family-friendly celebration on Sunday, May 4th from 2ā5 PM, featuring activities and favorite characters from the galaxy.
"Matter of Mind: My Alzheimerās" offers a powerful look into the lives of three families navigating the challenges of Alzheimerās, exploring how relationships shift through love, resilience, and caregiving. The film will be shown at Main Library's Auditorium on Sunday, April 6 at 2PM and is a free film open to the public.
Registration is open for next monthās Sunday Book Club meeting, happening on Sunday, April 13 at 2 PM in the Board Room at Main Library. We'll be reading "Lessons in Chemistry" by Bonnie Garmusāa great pick for book lovers looking to connect and share thoughtful discussion. Stop by the Information Desk to borrow a copy.
