IMAS
Thu Mar 19, 4:04 PMIt is with a heavy heart that IMAS shares the news of our beloved Ambassador Animal, Ryujin's passing. Ryujin joined the IMAS family in the summer of 2016 when the live animal traveling exhibit, "Here Be Dragons", came to a close. He was one of many reptiles who taught visitors to appreciate our scaly friends, and he did it better than most. Since 2016, IMAS became Ryujin's home, and he became a vital member of our education team. As bearded dragon and ambassador animal, Ryujin taught visitors about food chains, ecosystems, habitats, adaptations, and more. He helped people build empathy and appreciation for the animals in their backyards and around the world. He was known for lounging on his hammock, serving serious side-eye, and his love for apples and superworms. 🍎 As we remember Ryujin and the lasting impact he made on so many visitors, we welcome your thoughts and memories. 💚
