What an unforgettable celebration of creativity, talent, and community at Collage 2026. One of the evening’s most extraordinary moments was our Live Art Bid, where 10 talented UTRGV art students had one hour to capture a live model, dressed in a breathtaking designer gown, through their own artistic perspectives using charcoal. Each piece offered a glimpse into the incredible talent growing right here in the Rio Grande Valley. A very special thank you to Manuel Tiscareño, a McAllen native and acclaimed designer, for generously donating the stunning gown. Recognized among Forbes’ 100 Most Creative and featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, and more, Manuel’s work has made an impact far beyond the Valley. In a generous last-minute surprise, Manuel donated the gown to IMAS, allowing guests an additional opportunity to bid. The gown ultimately became the highest-bid item of the night, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting IMAS and supporting our mission. We are deeply grateful to UTRGV’s Art Department, Professor Rigoberto Gonzalez, and each of the student artists who brought their incredible talent to this experience. And to our wonderful model, thank you for your poise and patience in holding your pose for an hour and helping bring this unforgettable artistic experience to life. Moments like this remind us that extraordinary art and talent can be found right here in our community. Thank you to everyone who made Collage 2026 so special.
