This year's Día de los Muertos Festival & Market at IMAS features a full day of live performances celebrating culture and community. Performance lineup: DanzArt Centro Dancistico McHi Mariachi Team Mission Parks and Recreation Folklórico UTRGV Ballet Folklórico Solstice Dance Conservatory Beyond the performances, enjoy community altars, hands-on art activities, Lotería, sugar skull decorating, an artisan market, and more. The 6th Annual Members’ Juried Art Show returns this fall, offering artists the opportunity to have their work professionally exhibited in a museum setting and shared with a broad public audience. Current IMAS members ages 18 and older may submit up to two pieces for consideration, with at least one artwork guaranteed to be included in the exhibition. Selected works will be juried by independent jurors, with Best of Show, Second Place, Third Place, and three Honorable Mentions awarded, each with monetary value.
