IMAS
Fri Jul 10, 1:32 PMThe IMAS has partnered with UTRGV CHAPS Program to install an exhibit at the Speer Memorial Library in Mission, on exhibit now through early October. The IMAS Curatorial Team along with interns from the UTRGV Anthropology Department created an exhibit highlighting an archeological excavation in 1976-1977 at the Sheldon Site in Sullivan City, which was inhabited bv Indigenous, Native American peoples at different points in time over the past several thousand years. The CHAPS team put together an exhibit that highlights several natural history aspects "uncovered" for our Ancient Landscapes of South Texas Geoheritage project.
