Downtown McAllen Goes Green for Spring Market on Main! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend at Spring Market on Main on Saturday, March 14, as Downtown McAllen transforms into a lively outdoor market filled with music, art, shopping, and family-friendly fun. More than 100 vendors will line Main Street offering handcrafted goods, boutique fashion, jewelry, home décor, and specialty treats from local makers. Enjoy live performances by Fergus Dowling, Becky Koehler and Brandt Kronholm, and Christopher Magallon, along with Irish dancing from Dancentre and creative exhibits from the McAllen Creative Incubator, featuring artwork and dance performances from IDEA campuses across the Rio Grande Valley. The market takes place 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. along Main Street between Beech and Gumwood, with Archer Park serving as the central gathering space. 🚗 Street closure: Main Street from Gumwood to Beech Avenue will be closed to traffic from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. 🅿️ Free parking: Casa de Palmas parking garage, 101 N.
