Hear ye, hear ye! The kingdom awaits at MPL's Summer Reading Challenge Kick-Off Renaissance Faire on Saturday, June 6 from 10AM to 12PM at Main Library. Free & open to all ages, this fantasy-themed celebration will feature a live performance by The Player’s Studio, crafts, games, snacks, and family-friendly activities. Wander through a world of knights, dragons, royalty, and storybook adventures as we kick off a summer of reading. Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite fantasy, fairy tale, or medieval-inspired characters. Be sure to keep an eye out for Marty the Library Cat, who will be ruling the festivities as King Marty himself. It's the perfect way to begin this year's Summer Reading Challenge and start a summer filled with imagination, adventure, and great books.
