New Arrival!
We've recently received four new paintings by Texas artist Edith Maskey. A full time artist for almost fifty years, Edith, along with her husband John, make watercolor paintings of colorful Mexican villages and vibrant towns, with an emphasis on architecture, street scenes, and the more traditional, slower pace of life of the people. Long time lovers of Mexico, they've been traveling to the small towns and rural areas of Mexico for their artistic inspiration for decades.
This painting of a women waiting for clients to sell her flowers and food in a Oaxacan market is a sweetly humanist artwork. This painting is part of a collection of paintings by Edith that are on display and available for sale at Nuevo Santander Gallery.
