We’re reaching out on behalf of our brother, friend, and coworker Mikey Ray
Mikey is a 24-year-old student at UTRGV, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and truly one of the best humans you could know. He’s someone who always shows up—especially for kids during Christmas time—helping collect and distribute toys to families in need. If you’ve ever come across his content, you know him for his enthusiasm, charisma, and nonstop energy, whether it’s tattoo culture, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, or simply spreading good vibes.
Mikey is currently in critical but stable condition following a serious motorcycle accident. He has several major surgeries ahead of him, including facial reconstruction surgery. By the grace of God and the protection of his riding gear, he is still here with us today—and we’re holding onto that hope with everything we have.
To help support Mikey and ease the financial burden of medical and recovery expenses, we will be hosting the following benefit events:

Last Saturday was full of goodness. We kicked things off with a guided bird walk Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center led by naturalist Will Farley 🐦🌿 Big thanks to Will and to everyone who came out on a chilly morning!
That afternoon, local artists Ruth Hoyt and Jessica Monroe Art joined us for a thoughtful conversation about their artistic practices and learning from nature. 🎨✨

He’s someone who always shows up—especially for kids during Christmas time—helping collect and distribute toys to families in need. If you’ve ever come across his content, you know him for his enthusiasm, charisma, and nonstop energy, whether it’s tattoo culture, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, or simply spreading good vibes. Mikey is currently in critical but stable condition following a serious motorcycle accident. He has several major surgeries ahead of him, including facial reconstruction surgery. By the grace of God and the protection of his riding gear, he is still here with us today—and we’re holding onto that hope with everything we have. We kicked things off with a guided bird walk Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center led by naturalist Will Farley 🐦🌿 Big thanks to Will and to everyone who came out on a chilly morning! That afternoon, local artists Ruth Hoyt and Jessica Monroe Art joined us for a thoughtful conversation about their artistic practices and learning from nature. 🎨✨ We’re taking a tiny break from guided walks tomorrow, but we do have a talk and a native plant sale going on! 🌱Join us for "Inviting Birds to Your Backyard" tomorrow from 2-3 pm.
