When a loved one passes on it is a most difficult time for those that mourn. We the family of Maria del Rosario “Rosemary”, “Chayo” Zamora and the staff of Zamoras’ Restaurants would like to thank all of you who accompanied us during this time of mourning. Your condolences, thoughts, and prayers have comforted and set our hearts at ease. The loss of our mom has allowed us to learn of the many people whom she knew and whose lives she touched. Mama Zamora as some would call her has left some big shoes to fill. And we as her family will try to ensure that her legacy of helping out the community continues. Thank you to our friends, our patrons, and the Zamoras staff who have been loyal for the past, going on 50 yrs. Here’s to many more to come. God bless you all and your families. In respects and to honor our matriarch Mrs.Zamora, all Zamoras’ Restaurant locations will be closing early today December 2, and will reopen tomorrow December 3, at 1:00pm.

Funeral services are under the direction of Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen. Visitation viewing will be on Monday December 2, from 5:00pm- 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. On Tuesday December 3, 2024 there will be a Catholic Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen Texas at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen where she will be laid to rest.
