Did you know the Rio Grande Valley is home to eight of the nine species of pigeons and doves found in Texas?😯 Laura Brush, Rio Grande Valley native and bird enthusiast currently serving as an educator at the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center, will be with us tomorrow April 30th to share her love of birds.🐦 Participants will understand how to tell the Valley's doves and pigeons apart while gaining a a new appreciation for these common yet remarkable birds and learn why they deserve our attention and care. 🍃 #nativeavifauna #birding #southtexasecology #quintamazatlan #exploremacallen
