In honor of National Native American Day, observed in Arizona and California on the fourth Friday of September (this Friday), we are highlighting a piece by Mexican artist Humberto Limon Salazar. Known for his vivid paintings of cowboys and Indians, Salazar had a keen eye to the past, his art an embodiment of the mythos of the old west, one that still lives on to this day.
