Event Info
We’re very excited to have well-known local native plant expert Anita Westervelt in to share her knowledge! She's going to tell us about the 12 locally available plants sure to bring hummingbirds to your garden!
Native plants are the best source of nectar for hummingbirds. A garden to attract hummingbirds is full of diversity—hummingbirds like many colors of flowers, not just red ones. The Rio Grande Valley offers a variety of native flowering plants that hummingbirds love and will look great in your yard.
PLUS, stay after for a NATIVE PLANT SALE from 3 p.m. to closing, while supplies last.
