Thornforest Restoration in the RGV: A Native Seed Approach
Event Info
Please join us to learn about the critical work the American Forests team is doing to restore the unique and endangered thornforest ecosystem of South Texas. Our native RGV thornforest is among the most diverse habitats in the U.S.—but little remains. We need to restore it to help with urban heat, air pollution, flooding, and birds and other wildlife.

This presentation highlights American Forests' hands-on work collecting, processing, and growing native seeds in the Rio Grande Valley, and how local communities and science come together to reforest our native habitat. https://www.americanforests.org/place/rio-grande-valley/

PLUS, stay after for a NATIVE PLANT SALE! See that event for details.
