Event Info
Celebrate the 5th Tuesday in March and Women's History Month! The public is invited to Plead The Fifth, a night of storytelling, music, art, truth, and inspiration from 7 to 9 p.m. at CommonSpace coffee shop at 2901 N. 10th Street, Suite F in McAllen.

Featured readers include Paola Carrasco, Yelitza Saenz, Lí Garza, and Veronica Chanón-Gutierrez. Daniel García Ordaz (a.k.a. The Poet Mariachi) will emcee.

Featured writers will have 10--12 minutes to perform. An open-mic session will follow, as time permits--with 5 minutes per open-mic performer.

This is a free event brought to you by the Seven To Eight Poetry Project.

We'd like to encourage guests to consider donating canned food or non-perishable food for the Food Bank of the RGV. This is not required, but welcome.
