Today, our hearts are heavy as we share some incredibly difficult news. We have lost one of our absolute best. Our long-time family member, the incomparable Betty Jean Andrews, has passed away. Betty was more than just a performer; she was a pillar of our LGBTQ+ community and a part of the Pecado family since the very moment our doors first opened. We are devastated by this loss. To know her was to know a sweet, kind, and radiant soul. While we are in mourning, we are also profoundly grateful for every moment, every laugh, and every performance Betty shared with us. We will do our best to honor her legacy in the days and weeks ahead. A Celebration of Life We are currently planning a celebration to honor Betty’s life and legacy. We want our entire community to be there to say goodbye. Details will be announced as soon as they are finalized. Betty was an integral part of our journey from the very beginning. As a dedicated entertainer within the LGBTQ+ community, Betty Jean brought joy, talent, and a spirit of kindness to everyone she encountered. Our community has lost a true “queen” in every sense of the word. Rest in power, Queen. You are already so deeply missed. 🏳️‍🌈✨
