With over 20 years of experience importing and roasting Columbian beans we have been able to perfect our roast, making it one of our signature bean profiles. Sumatra: Despite being the newest edition to our retail selection, the bold flavor of Sumatran beans ensures they’re here to stay.  Sumatran beans stand out amongst the other Indonesian-island grown beans because of their distinct processing methods and the organization of their farming by democratically organized associations of women coffee producers, both of which motivate us to continue to import and roast Sumatran beans in house. Kenya: Although Kenya shares a border with the “birthplace of coffee,” Ethiopia, it was one of the latest places planted in coffee, nearly 300 years after the plant was first cultivated for sale. Because of this the beans grown in Kenya have travelled the globe to create a profile that, once adapted to the rich soil around Mt.
