📚 #STBF Author Session: The Witches of El Paso Author Luis Jaramillo joins the South Texas Book Festival for “The Witches of El Paso: A Book Discussion” at Main Library (4001 N. 23rd St.) on Saturday, October 25 at 12:30PM, followed by a book signing. In “The Witches of El Paso,” Jaramillo takes readers between 1940s El Paso, colonial Mexico, and the present day in a story about Nena, a teenage girl with strange visions, and her grandniece Marta, a lawyer caring for an aging Nena who holds on to secrets from another lifetime. When Marta agrees to help her search for a daughter lost to the past, old powers begin to stir, and both women are pulled into a world where magic and memory refuse to stay buried.
