We had such a great time celebrating the unveiling of our new mural in the Teen Department! Thank you to artist Oneida Aceves Treviño for bringing "Boundless Imagination: Tales of the RGV" to life and to Sofia M. Treviño, past #STBF Youth Bookmark Design Contest winner, for contributing her talent to this beautiful piece. From folklorico dancers to mermaids, ocelots, and astronauts, this 28-foot mural is filled with South Texas storytelling and creativity. Stop by the Main Library to see it for yourself!

See the unveiling of the new mural "Boundless Imagination: Tales of the RGV" in the Teen Department at Main Library this evening (Tue., Aug. 12) from 6–7PM. Created by local artist Oneida Aceves Treviño with help from Sofia M. Treviño, a past #STBF Youth Bookmark Design Contest winner, this 28-foot piece celebrates South Texas culture, wildlife, and storytelling. Enjoy free pizza, meet the artist, and take photos with this vibrant new addition to the Library.

"Boundless Imagination: Tales of the RGV" is filled with folklorico dancers, mermaids, ocelots, astronauts, and scenes inspired by South Texas storytelling. Celebrate the unveiling on Tuesday, August 12 from 6-7PM in the Teen Department at Main Library. Enjoy free pizza, meet the artist, and take photos with the mural.
