DJ Petrolera is a genre-blurring firestarter whose sets burn hot and move fast. Raised in the oil fields of West Texas, she channels raw power into every performance. Fusing electronica, neoperreo, hardcore, Latin tech, and experimental club sounds, she delivers dance floor detonations built to move bodies and break boundaries.

A co-founder of MEXICUNT, a collective, party and platform for queer latinx artist in Central Texas-Petrolera is committed to aiding in building space for radical self-expression and community. Through MEXICUNT, she helps carve out sweat drenched sanctuaries where music, identity, and freedom collide.

Inspired equally by the underground rave scene and her work as a fashion designer (via her brand Mechanical Mujer), DJ Petrolera brings a sharp visual edge and a shapeshifting sound to every set.

A sonic chameleon who never plays it safe, Petrolera combusts behind the decks and behind the seams alike.
