Finally! We’re all set for our first OPEN DECK this Thursday! (OPEN DECK is designed to give Up and Coming DJs a great chance to play to a crowd, have people hear their music on a sound system, play new tracks, try new mixing techniques and Network). This is an idea that’s been floating around the Walrus for months now but true to form we’ve held off until we can do it right! We’ve reconstructed our interior stage, interfaced our lighting systems, rebuilt the sound (6 subs, 6 15”s all balanced and remastered) upgraded our interior boards (digital sound board) and brought in a brand new Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ 4-Channel Standalone Controller for rekordbox di and Serato DJ Pro all with the intention of creating the best experience possible.
